Trying to enter a bar without an ID? Living up to that 'Badgalriri' name...

Generally, people trying to get into clubs or bars or any establishment where there is an age limit and necessary identification is needed - without an ID - are teenagers. Occasionally, this could an older person who might look their age.

Most of the public, however, tend to have some sort of identification with them at all times - with the only possible exception to this rule being celebrities.

And one of the biggest celebrities in the world, who has been a household name for 16 years since she first broke into the industry at the age of 17, and has performed on some of the world's biggest stages is the queen herself, Rihanna.

She's basically topped every music chart, has a very successful skincare/make-up brand, has starred in movies and collaborated with some of the biggest names in music.

One could assume that anyone who has ever listened to music or been on the internet knows the name, Rihanna.

Apparently everyone except for one bouncer in New York City.

Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky (who is a famous rapper in his own right), wanted to enjoy a night on the town and decided to head to a bar in the city.

Their plans were unfortunately ruined when the bouncer of the bar they wanted to enter denied them access because Rihanna did not have her identification document on her.

Bystanders were able to capture the whole interaction on camera and of course, it's been making the rounds on Twitter.

In another video taken from a different angle, you can even hear the bouncer asking Rihanna if she has a business card on her whilst other people are saying they don't know who she is.

While it's clear that this man takes his job very seriously - which is a good thing - we're pretty sure the owner of the establishment might not be too happy after he finds out two of the biggest musicians in the world had been turned away.

At the end of the day, the internet's response to the video has been a mix of utter disbelief and hilarious commentary.
