WATCH: Internet reacts to horror cake made of KFC, veggies and mash

Just when you've seen everything, you can always expect someone on TikTok to come through with something unique and original that's never been done before.

Whether it's a new makeup hack or a food-related thing.

While it's all very innovative, it's the food hacks, tricks and inventions that have us captivated.

Especially when it comes to baked goods.

Remember when everything was cake? You would see a roll of toilet paper and suddenly someone is cutting into and reveal that it was a cake!

Wild times.

We've seen people create cakes that are filled with R140k and kids asking for KFC-themed confectionaries, but one TikTok user, @cookingpanda, has taken it to a whole new level.

The closest thing to a savoury cake one might see often is a cheesecake or carrot cake situation.

But Cooking Panda has created a cake so confusing we don't know if we're drooling hoping to try a bite or if we're slightly terrified.

The cake in question is a fried chicken-inspired piece, using actual KFC as decoration.

The creator swapped icing for mashed potatoes and gravy, the filling included more mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (including corn, peas and carrots) and was topped with a few, very delicious-looking, pieces of KFC.

But what about the actual cake? Can one really create an entire KFC cake with these ingredients and combine it with a classic vanilla sponge?

Luckily the creators decided to swap out the usual cake with cornbread, which is a more savoury quick bread made from cornmeal that is usually a side dish.

But as it turns out, this cake has a lot of people questioning a lot of things.

The comments on this video were so divided but Cooking Panda knew that their creation would cause some controversy and has taken it all in their stride:

As a team that is very outspoken about their love of chicken, this might be where even Stacey and J Sbu draw the line...
