The husband of the Amanzimtoti minister, Liezel de Jager, who was found murdered in her home, has been reported missing. De Jager was a minister in the NG Church in Amanzimtoti. She was allegedly found dead with strangulation marks on her neck in her home on October 13.

Loadshedding was suspended at 5am. More Stage 2 load shedding had been planned from 21:00 on Tuesday night to 05:00 on Wednesday morning. It has been now extended to Saturday, 30 October.


Eskom still maintains loadshedding will not disrupt the elections on Monday.
