A woman in New York City decided to document her first date on TikTok, and it showed her pursuit in finding love through the storm and all. Since there was a hurricane, she thought that her first date would be cancelled or postponed, but, no, that was not the case...

It's no easy task, finding your person. As much as many people believe there are many fish in the sea, there are also many frogs in the rain. We live in a progressive world, so the fact that he made her pay for her own meal could be looked upon as the feminist thing to do, but come on, man, where is the romance?

The video got a huge reaction with over 6.1-million views, where many commented saying that she needs a red flag guidebook on dating. One person even commented saying that the first red flag was him not selecting a place that was at least halfway for both of them.
People were very supportive and kind to her, which is a refreshing change to the 'wrong turns' that some social videos take with the likes of trolls making an appearance.
The world of dating is becoming more complex, when you add in a pandemic, but there's no reason why we can't make it special. The bright side for this NYC girl is that if anything, at least she tried and there's one less frog to kiss before she finds her person.
