With Valentine's Day around the corner, there is no shortage of red hearts hovering around, and teddy bears and chocolates being flaunted at store fronts. We thought what better time to flip the script than now?

Plus, it's quite on brand for Vic Naidoo to disrupt with his content, so these two first date stories were on point.

The first story is of a guy who says that he was saved by a waiter who enforced the 'bro-code' on a first date that he was on.

It all started with a tweet:

And then this happened...

Can you even imagine?!

It's their first date and the first thing she chose to do was to order the most expensive drink on the menu... come on, if that's not a red flag then we must be blind.

So the bro-code saved him from losing out on some big money that night, and obviously there wasn't a follow up date. The fact that Kingkay received more than 1,150 retweets is a clear indication that many people found this entertaining.

But wait, not all brothers have it together. The second bad first date had to do with a couple that went out for dinner and...

This story was shared by a woman on Reddit, the headline read: "Guy on my date last night: 'The lady will have a salad. I don't want to be 50 and married to a fatty.'" Now if that didn't raise your brows then you're not getting it...

She went on to share that her date took her to a steakhouse and when the waitress came through, he ordered a Tomahawk steak plus two sides and then went ahead to order her a salad.

"He then said he expects the women he dates to take care of themselves and be feminine, not eat 100 grams of fat in one sitting in front of him because "that's not feminine". "You're very hot but this is a red flag for me. I know women who look like you and the moment they land a man they let themselves go. I don't want to be 50 and married to a fatty. That's why men cheat". (Reddit)

She later shared some more, saying that she walked out of the date and stayed for less than 10 minutes. Yass, girl!

So in the spirit of celebrating the good, the bad, and the flagged: Have you ever had a bad first date?
