East Coast Radio's Jayshree Parasuramen has given us some information about the rumoured #NationalShutdown that has been trending on social media.
The threats of a national shutdown began after the latest fuel price increase at the start of June.

The unconfirmed shutdown is apparently planned for Friday the 10th of June, with calls for the government to do something about the runaway costs.
According to ECR Newswatch, the South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) is distancing itself from a possible national shutdown over the high fuel prices.
