We started off December with World AIDS Day, got some stats, got introduced to the new Sharks jersey and David Miller paid us a visit bearing gifts.

Last week we had a jam packed show as we commemorated World AIDS day and
spoke to a remarkble woman who shared her story, we celebrated KZN's
improved HIV/AIDS stats, the Sharks have a new Jersey and David Miller
was on the hot seat.
New KZN HIV/AIDS stats show improvement
The prevalence of HIV in South Africa is highest in KwaZulu-Natal. A lot more still has to be done but there are improvements. In a speech addressed by the KZN Health MEC - Dr Sbongiseni Dhlomo on
the celebration of having one million patients on the Antiretroviral
drugs programme.

Married to an infected partner
She has been married for more than 20 years, only 10 years ago did she find out that her husband who also did not know, was HIV positive. She shares her story with us.
