Woman makes flavoured pap using Oros juice
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
A young woman who decided to try something new by making pap with Oros has South Africans ready to report her to culinary court.

We are all for people experimenting with foods. It is a part of the exciting food journey that allows innovative dishes to be discovered.
However, we have to agree that there has been a fair share of dishes born out of experiments that were epic failures.
When experimenting with food, we can establish that not everyone will enjoy the same things. How we experience food is subjective, and that has much to do with our sense of taste.
For instance, remember when we found out that eating pizza in bread was a thing...
A young woman who decided to try something different shared a video of making flavoured pap.
It didn't turn out how she wanted it to, but it was an interesting approach to making pap that donned a beautiful hue and could be aimed at the sweet tooth lovers.
She used one of the most iconic juices to flavour her pap and give it a bright orange colour, Oros. In the video, she adds the Oros juice directly to the pap, and we see the pap turn bright orange.
The juice is heavily sweetened as it is meant to be mixed with water, so we imagine the pap will be sweet.
She continues making her flavoured pap and comments on how she was not happy with the colour of the pap because, as she added the dry pap to the mix, the colour turned yellow.
In the end, she added more juice to the mix to get the bright orange colour, and it didn't turn out the way she wanted, as it was sweet and she prefers savoury.
As expected, people had a lot to say about this unusual combination.
"Pap went through a lot this year😭", said one user.
Another person commented: "I know it's crazy, but deep down, I want to [know] how it tastes 😂".
A third person said: "That just broke my heart 😭💔"
A fourth person commented: "I didn't believe, but Pap seriously needs a lawyer 🙌"
Another said, "#JusticeForPap it needs a lawyer now"
