With all the mayhem that has been going on with the KZN Shutdown, the looting and the violence, it has been overwhelming and heartbreaking for all South Africans.

People have cried, many times over, some have held up their strength to show their kids their bravery, some have even focused on helping others so that they don't have to deal with all the negativity and anger. With all of that is going on, it has been a journey of learning and gratefulness.

Many of us have had that burning question that we have wanted an answer to - who are these looters? Well, we have been answered by one person who had the courage to share this information with the authorities.

Michael Hay, a former Durbanite who now resides in Dubai, UAE, shared on his social media that his former school friend, Qhawe Sithole, was allegedly one of the looters.

It has been said that Qhawe, who was the "founder and chief executive officer of Pretoria-based Ubuntu Wealth Management, allegedly looted a washing machine, a bar stool, alcohol and other braai accessories," IOL reports.

More than 500 comments on the post revealed the disappointment of many people. Some applauded Hay's courage for outing his friend. It couldn't have been easy.

When it comes to putting a face to the current state of our province and our country, we are by no means encouraging any sort of segregation, we are just shocked and disappointed in the people that contributed to this "shutdown", ignorantly ignoring the innocent people that have been affected by all of this.

We have checked in on each other, as colleagues, as neighbours, as South Africans. It has been a rough time, but we will stand up, move forward, and clean up our province and our country. We got this everybody!
