It's that time of the year when we are known to overindulge.

This story of a 68-year-old woman who was diagnosed with knee arthritis and who consequently injured her back decided she needed to make a change in her life.

It is the ultimate motivational story for you as we overindulge this festive season. A story that may or may not motivate you to not overindulge but rather to consume waryingly.

It's easy to want to try all the yummy desserts and fatty foods out this Christmas season, but try and be mindful of the after-effects that those foods have on both your mind and your body.

If you feel overwhelmed by the pressure of it all. Try eating smaller portions and drink more water. Water will trick your body and make you feel full so you won't have any space to consume those guilty pleasures.

Alternatively, you could always chose to make foods that are healthier this Christmas.
