Suspects in Bianca Parsons case appear in high court
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The two men accused of killing a Wentworth mother in an alleged case of mistaken identity have made their first appearance in the Durban High Court.
Bianca Parsons was shot twice in the back while waiting in her car with her young daughter at a filling station in February.
A lower court has heard Darryl Murrisson and Christopher Housten's alleged intended target was an occupant of another car similar in colour to Parsons'.
Murrisson and Housten appeared briefly before Judge Shyam Gyanda this morning.
Before the case was transferred to the High Court, Housten had told the Durban Magistrate's Court that he intends pleading not guilty to the crime.
Murrisson on the other hand said he would plead guilty and has indicated he will be taking on legal aid. Housten's attorney, Ridwaan Sayed was not in court today.

When Gyanda asked Housten where his legal representative was, he was unable to answer.
The matter has been adjourned until December for Housten to sort out his counsel.
