Advocate Martin Krog, who is acting on behalf of the 29-year-old businessman, played the clip while investigating officer, Warrant Officer Rajen Govender was on the stand.

The accused cannot be named at this stage.

Krog told the court that he had already played the clip for Govender and Public Prosecutor, Surekha Marimuthu in March.

The man speaking in the voice note claims the accused confessed to another rape while "wearing a KFC packet."

Krog said afterwards that by "wearing a KFC packet" he had meant 'over his head'.
