Here's the new KZN cabinet: Zikalala now Cogta MEC

Former KwaZulu-Natal premier Sihle Zikalala is now the MEC of Cooperative Governance.
Zikalala takes up the new role in the newly elected premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube's cabinet, which was announced on Thursday.
"Under his leadership, we know that he is our former premier and you would recall as well that he has had a number of programmes that he had championed in our province, including nationally and working with all the stakeholders," said Dube-Ncube.

The new MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs is ANC provincial chairperson Sboniso Duma.
He replaces Ravi Pillay, who resigned this week.
Another notable change in the cabinet is the new MEC of Education, which is now Mbali Frazer.
She replaces Kwazi Mshengu.
"The MEC is not new to this environment having served in various structures as a teacher, principal, as a Sadtu and Cosatu member within the teaching environment," Dube-Ncube said.
The former Cooperative Governance MEC Sipho Hlomuka has been moved to the Transport Department.
Peggy Nkonyeni takes over the old job of Dube-Ncube as the Finance MEC.

Nkululeko Ntuthuko Mahlaba is the new MEC for Human Settlements, replacing Jomo Sibiya.
MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture is Amanda Mapena and MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development is Bongi Sithole-Moloi.
The MECs for Health Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu and Social Development Nonhlahla Khoza remain in their positions.
