Driver in hot water for kicking young boy out of taxi
Updated | By Nomfundo Ngcobo
The taxi driver who kicked a five-year-old boy out of his vehicle for not having taxi fare will face disciplinary action.

Grade R learner is said to have been left on the side of the road in Verulam earlier this week, after telling the driver he'd lost his money to pay for the ride.
The child had been returning him from school.
He was later reunited with his mother.
The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) says it tracked down the operator on Thursday.

KZN spokesperson, Sifiso Shangase says he'd been issued a letter to stop operating until the disciplinary process is concluded.
He says they want to hear both sides of the story.
"When he becomes sanctioned, we would love for him then to go through customer care training, as well as for him when he approaches situations to be able to understand the background the individual is faced with because tomorrow he will repeat the very same mistake.

"Whereas if we teach him and then he does understand, he will be able then to be proactive in terms of his approach."
