Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Acting Health Minster Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane says they've found that people, who have already had Covid-19, can catch and spread the Delta variant.
"There is now good evidence that Delta is more transmissible than previously circulating viruses and other variants of concern. The Delta variant is quickly becoming the dominant variant in the country, replacing both the Alpha and the Beta variants.
"Data is showing that Delta variant is also dominating in Gauteng, Beta variant is still prevalent as well," says Kubayi-Ngubane.
