Court to rule on bail bid in Bianca Parsons case
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Judgement is expected to be handed down in the bail application of one of the men accused of gunning down Wentworth woman, Bianca Parsons.
26-year-old Christopher Housten and Darryl Murrisson are accused of murdering the 32-year-old mother in front of her 3-year-old daughter at a petrol station in February.
During yesterday's closing arguments, Housten's attorney, Ridwaan Sayed said his client had nothing to do with Parsons' murder.
Sayed said Housten had simply been driving the vehicle in which Murrison had been sitting.
He said the shooting was a spur of the moment decision by Murrisson, who has indicated he intends pleading guilty to the crime. He argued that police have no evidence that Housten gave the firearm to Murrisson.

Murrisson told the court previously that he shot Parsons without having seen her face and that she was not the intended target.
Meanwhile State prosecutor, Stacy Barnard told the court that Housten is the only person who can be linked to the intended target, as his cousin was shot and killed in a separate incident, allegedly involving the intended target.
