In his affidavit read out in court - Murrisson admitted to shooting Parsons, without having seen her face. He said he shot her - thinking she was someone else.

Murrisson went on to tell the court that he used his own unlicensed firearm - and that Housten was not involved in the shooting.

Murrison said his actions were not planned and that he acted on the spur of the moment.

He said he meant to shoot someone else who had been in a similar looking vehicle out of revenge for allegedly murdering his friend last year.
