Christopher Housten is applying for bail while his co-accused Darryl Murrison says he will plead guilty to murder.

The two are accused of the murder 32-year-old Parsons at a South Durban petrol station last month.

The court heard that Naidoo was discharged from hospital today and that he might be available for cross-examination next week.

Houston’s attorney told Magistrate Jackie Jonck that he was disappointed that another investigating officer had not yet been appointed.

Jonck said if Naidoo is unable to make it to court next week, another officer would need to be appointed.

She said today was the final postponement.
