Bianca Parsons' husband 'in state of disbelief'

The husband of Bianca Parsons - the Wentworth mum who was killed in front of her young daughter - says they're still battling to come to terms with her death.

Orson Parsons became emotional in court yesterday, where investigating officer, Erugubathi Naidoo, revealed more details about his wife's murder.

Naidoo testified that Parsons was shot in a case of mistaken identity.

Her killers were apparently looking for people in another car - also parked at the petrol station and was similar in colour to the vehicle Parsons was sitting in.

Speaking to Newswatch shortly after the case adjourned, a teary eyed Parsons said it felt like his wife's murder was a really bad dream because her death had not yet sunk in.

He says his three-year-old daughter who saw her mother being killed started receiving counselling only this week.

Parsons says he has not yet told his daughter about her mother's death. The child thinks her mother is in hospital.

Meanwhile, one of Bianca Parsons relatives says their lives will never be the same again.

"A little girl pines for her. Can you imagine an innocent woman dying for no reason. Someone has to be [held accountable]," the relative said.

Yesterday, the case had to be adjourned after investigating Officer Naidoo fell ill and had to be taken to hospital.

The case is expected to resume today.
