Durban mother shot dead at Wentworth petrol station
A woman
has been shot dead at a petrol station along Tara Road in Wentworth, south of
Durban.
The mother, believed to be about 30-years-old, was shot multiple times last night.
Emergency services who raced to the scene say they found the victim lying on the ground.
Her young daughter escaped the incident unharmed and was found at the scene.
The motive behind the attack is still unknown at this stage.

Rescue Care’s Garrith Jamieson says the woman had sustained gunshot wounds to her upper body.
“She was found to have sustained major injuries and unfortunately there was nothing more paramedics could do for her and she was declared dead at the scene. Her daughter sustained no injuries,” he said.
