Another Umlazi murder leaves police questioning Mzila link
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Police are trying to establish whether there is a link between the murder of a man from Umlazi's C section, south of Durban - and the killing of four members of the Mzila family.
Officers say Thobelani Dlamini was stabbed to death and his vehicle taken last weekend. A woman who'd been a passenger in the car was also hurt.
Police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says the incident occurred on the same day that the Mzila family members were shot and killed in their home in G section - where Dlamini's car was found.

Meanwhile, one of the men arrested in connection with the attack on the Mzila family is due to consult with his legal aid attorney in Pietermaritzburg today.
He's facing four charges of murder, two of attempted murder, rape and being in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition.
Councillor for Umlazi's G section, Sthenjwa Nyawose, says the mass burial of loved ones is a painful thing for any family to do.
"We thank police for their work. There's nothing more difficult than burying four family members in one day. I've been there; I've had to bury 21 of my brothers, all in one day in Shobashobane," he said.
