Umlazi woman raped and killed while breastfeeding
The 28-year-old Umlazi woman who was raped and killed in her home at the weekend was shot while breastfeeding her year-old child.
Hlengiwe Mzila, her mother Sbongile, brother Mlungisi and cousin Lungisani - were shot by three suspects who gained entry into the home through a bathroom window.
Hlengiwe was raped before being killed. Police arrived at the scene while another woman was being attacked.
Khulekani Mzila witnessed his family being massacred.

He described how the suspects entered the home through the bathroom window, before going into the bedrooms.
"They woke Hlengiwe up and I heard her scream when they shot her. My mom screamed when they shot Hlengiwe, and they also shot her," he said.
