Timothée Chalamet set to receive Hollywood star
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
A total of 35 celebrities, including Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore, will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2026.

Movie star Timothée Chalamet has been recognised for his contributions to the entertainment industry.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the next batch of celebrities honoured with a star on the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Los Angeles.
Chalamet is one of 14 actors named in the Motion Pictures category for the class of 2026.
The 29-year-old has made a name for himself in movies such as ‘Wonka’, ‘Call Me By Your Name ’, and ‘Dune’ starring Zendaya.
His most recent film, 'A Complete Unknown,' earned him an Oscar nomination. In it, he played music icon Bob Dylan.
There were mixed reactions to the news of Chalamet's inclusion, with many saying he hasn't been in the industry long enough to receive such recognition.
"He’s been in the industry for like 7 years," an X user remarked. Another said: "Way toooooooo soon! He just started his career!"
Chalamet fans disagreed. "People can say whatever they want about him, but he's definitely the main movie star of this generation," one person said.
Some joked that his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, helped him get the star.
While many entertainment icons typically get their stars later in their careers, Chalamet meets the criteria.
"The criteria for receiving a star consists of the following: professional achievement, longevity in the category of five years or more, contributions to the community and the guarantee that the celebrity will attend the dedication ceremony if selected," the Hollywood Walk of Fame says on its website.
