Nick Cannon reveals surprising news about teenage twins
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
Nick Cannon wanted to throw his twins a birthday party, but they said no thanks—the reason why will surprise you.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's children, Moroccan and Monroe, turned fourteen this week and decided to forgo a birthday party.
While most children can't wait to blow out the candles on their birthday cake at a party with 101 balloons, Roc and Roe, as their parents call them, are not interested in a traditional celebration.
Cannon says the twins told him they were done with birthday parties. Why? The teens say they are just "too cool" for the average shindig.
"Happy Birthday to my firstborns! 14 years old!!! Somebody slow this thing down!!! Please!!! They didn't even want a birthday party!! They said they are too cool for that!" he wrote on Instagram.
In their defence, they had something more incredible in mind - an escape room activity.
"So instead they had the entire @thebasementescaperoom experience all to themselves and they had a blast!! Scary and mindblowing to say the least, but Roc & Roe and their friends loved it! And they let the old man tag along as a chaperone!" Cannon wrote.
He shared a video of Roc, Roe, and their friends having the time of their lives. There was a cake and snacks, so it technically was a birthday party—just don't let your teens hear you calling it that.
"I love you guys with everything I got and beyond!! Here's to another trip around the Sun!" Cannon said.
We are sure the 44-year-old was thrilled not to have to plan a stressful backyard party. The father of 12 has a lot of parties to plan throughout the year.
He made headlines in 2022 after welcoming five children from five women!
Here's a reminder of all the little apples on Cannon's family tree.
- Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey.
- Powerful Queen, Golden Sagon, and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell.
- Zion Mixolydian, Zillion Heir, and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa.
- Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi.
- Onyx Ice with Lanisha Cole.
- Zen and Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott.
