Police Minister, Bheki Cele says he is concerned about the tensions between the Chatsworth community and local police.
Cele has been addressing the community at a local hall this afternoon. Nine-year-old Sadia Sukhraj was shot and died in hospital - following a botched hijacking in Shallcross on Monday morning.
Her death has sparked outrage in the community with residents demonstrating outside the Chatsworth Police Station on Monday night

.Cele says a probe will be launched into the scenes that unfolded outside the police station on Monday night.
"I was very worried to see the community's response. I was worried with an understanding that the community was angry. If the community and the police fight - the people that benefit are criminals," Cele said.
The minister also wrapped up a closed meeting with the station management at Chatsworth SAPS. Cele says police are now on the third suspect's tail.
