Sadia Sukhraj case: Police intensify efforts to find third suspect
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
KwaZulu-Natal police are working to ensure that all those responsible for Sadia Sukhraj's death are brought to justice.
Community Safety MEC Mxolisi Kaunda met with senior management at the Chatsworth police station to discuss their strategies tackle trio crimes, business and residential robberies as well as hijackings in the area.
"They are working flat out, looking for the third suspect. They will not rest up until the suspect is brought to book. We are also calling for harsher sentences. If people are not receiving harsher sentences, this perpetuates the situation further," he said.
Led by the MEC, government officials met with the family yesterday.
