There are certain things you just don’t do. Putting foil in the microwave, sticking your fingers in a plug socket, and speaking on the phone while it’s charging. Now, one TikTok user is showing just how dangerous talking on the phone while it’s charging can really be.

In the clip, which has been viewed over 16.5-million times, a man named Ahmed shows viewers that electricity runs through one’s body when talking on the phone with the charger plugged in.

Using a voltage tester, the man confirms that electricity is running through the phone’s charger before and after being plugged in. After two positive results, he uses a boy to place the phone next to his ear and uses the voltage tester against the boy - and seemingly confirms that electric waves are being identified in the child’s body.

When the charger is pulled out of the plug, the beeping stops and the electric waves disappear.
