Talking to your friends every day is overrated...

What is a true sign of friendship: constant texts and calls being sent back and forth? Or being able to go days without speaking but still remaining friends?

 Usually one could argue that best friends are almost as inseparable as twins.

That is something that is also very do-able when you're younger and you can play together every day, have sleepovers or see each other at school.

But as the years go by, things change: you probably don't work together, you might live in different provinces (or even countries), and you might just become super busy.

That's just life happening.

Even though you still have all your friends, you don't necessarily get to hang out as much or see each other as often as you would like.

None of this, however, means that you want to end the friendship or that you don't love this person anymore.

Although you can try and text or call your friends every day, everyone has a life of their own.

You might not be available when they are, or vice versa. And sometimes you also only have so much to say before the conversation might become boring.

So what if that pressure was completely gone? What if you didn't feel so obligated to talk to your friends every single day?

Now imagine all of this could be okay and at the same time it didn't ruin your friendship.
