Siya Kolisi set to receive special E! People’s Choice Award
The Springbok captain is being recognised for his incredible work off the rugby field.

Siya Kolisi is a prime example of this.
Not only is he the captain that led the Springboks to victory at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, but now he is also being honored for the life-changing work he does outside of rugby.

Earlier this year, Siya and his wife, Rachel, established the Kolisi Foundation.
The aim of this foundation is to change the narrative for vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in South Africa, while also helping victims of gender-based violence.

While they were still months away from an official launch, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, but this did not stop them.
They realised that more people needed their help now more than ever and they jumped into action.

What does any of this have to do with the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards?
Well, they've created a brand new category that acknowledges the 'African Trailblazer of the Year'.
And the first-ever recipient is Siya Kolisi.
Seems like there's just no stopping Siya!
