Photographer captures moment monkey gives CPR

Someone once said: "Monkeys, baboons and the like don't talk, because then they would have to pay taxes."

The reason they said this is because human beings and primates are not really any different.

Especially when you see how they behave and some of the very human-like things they can do, like using human tools.

But even though we are very much the same, one thing you don't see very often is primates performing CPR.

Firstly, because it is something we as humans are taught and who would teach the monkeys?

But if you do get to witness a monkey giving CPR (which also tends to sound like a joke), it would be great if you had a camera with you to capture the moment.

Well, photographer William Steel did, and he was able to capture this strange and rare moment while visiting a game reserve in Botswana.

Turns out it might not be all that it seems, with experts saying the female monkey probably threw herself onto the floor as a cry for attention.

Well, it clearly worked as the male monkey instantly rushed over and started grooming the female.

So, ladies and gentleman, take note.
