Mother-in-law or monster: Is it a deal-breaker?

One of the few things that can almost automatically end a relationship.

In-laws have been the focus of many a movie and television series.

Most of the time it's to depict them in a terrible light and they are usually quite mean to whoever finds themselves in a relationship with their child.
But is it as common an occurrence as films would have us believe? Are mothers-in-law really that bad?
Generally, they might even be delightful!

Well, as much as we might try to believe that our significant other's parents will be amazing and love us just as much as they love their own child, that's not reality.
Vic has decided to share a friend's story and their experience with a monster-in-law.
Ultimately, there is just one question left to ask: is a bad relationship with your in-laws a good enough reason to break up with someone?
