Writing someone's obituary is certainly a big deal. If anything it is that one thing that many people find honourable, but it can be super emotional when dealing with death. But that was not the case for this son...

He used humour and honesty as his two motives when writing his mother's obituary. And lo and behold, it was received in the best way after he decided to share it on social media. 

There's that age old saying that everyone deals with death differently. This son certainly proved that after writing his mother's obituary and sharing it to Twitter. 

When you think about an obituary, there is this expectation to keep it clean, respectful. You rarely find people speaking the truth about the person they are laying to rest. Because there is this unspoken rule of thumb that forces us to share all the good about that person.

That in itself may seem cold but it actually has a fun spin on her relationship with her family.
