This year has been rough and it's left most of us looking almost identical to this tree.

It's almost the most wonderful time of the year!

With lights and decorations going up already, even though it's early November, people are eager to get into the holiday and festive spirit after this terrible year.

No matter what you're celebrating, we can all agree that we're just happy to see 2020 come to an end.

But as it is almost Christmas time, most establishments, companies, and homes are getting their very special trees ready.

Usually the most well-known and conventional choices would resemble a full, flourishing, green, vibrant, leafy tree.

Sure, you might get the occasional colourful foliage, but even they have more than a few branches and are quite packed.

But they should never resemble such a poor state that people compare it to 2020.

A Christmas tree has been placed in Fountain Square, Cincinnati, USA, that just looks so incredibly sad.

And although it seems a bit depressing, Twitter has been turning it into a little meme of its own.

But, apparently, the locals should not fear, as they will be sprucing it up in time for the holidays and this look is only temporary.

Seems like there is still light at the end of the 2020 tunnel!
