You wouldn't think that seatbelts have more than one use.

But surprisingly they come with a range of uses. And most of them are extremely helpful.

For one, when you are stuck and you don't have help, you can pull the seatbelt to the longest capability, close the door, and put it over your shoulders and pull the car.

When you buy a car, the seatbelt can reveal the most.

If you pull the seatbelt to the longest inspection tail, if there's mold or sand, then this is likely to be a car with blisters. And definitely not safe to purchase.

Then when buying a car, look at the production date on the seat belt and open the passenger door and compare it with the production date on the nameplate.

If it is different from the one from the seat belt, then it is likely that the car was in an accident.

Then, finally, if you get stuck in the car, you can use the metal part of the seat belt to get out.

The edge of the glass on the window can be hit with the buckle and you can get out.
