COVID-19 lockdown causes this woman to get stuck on a blind date

Finding love can be difficult, having to search for a prospective partner that compliments you and your likes and dislikes. But what could top all of that is taking the step to find love and then a pandemic forces you to really go in hard...
A Chinese woman who shared her story to Chinese social media platform, WeChat, said that she was stuck in her date's apartment for an undisclosed time due to a swift lockdown.

"She wrote that her fifth date had said "he was good at cooking, and invited me to his house so he could cook a meal. However, during the meal, she discovered that her date's community had gone into swift lockdown due to cases of Covid-19, and ended up being unable to leave his house for several days." (BBC)
As much as she admitted that the situation was not ideal (that's putting it lightly), she shared that he cooked for her every day. How sweet is that...

At least we know that he wasn't lying about being able to cook, and that's definitely a plus in our books. "China has a zero Covid-19 policy, meaning that swift lockdowns are routinely imposed in communities when cases of the virus are detected." (BBC)
So it wasn't just Ms. Wang who was stranded during the lockdown, another story was shared last month where a man was stuck in lockdown whilst he was moving house. Definitely not ideal, considering he didn't even have a duvet to cover himself...
