A couple decided to dye the waters of a stunning waterfall bright blue for their baby's gender reveal party.
What in the blue waters is going on here?!
Gender reveal parties are the new 'it events' of the year, but this is taking things to a whole new level!
Look, we can appreciate the 'out-of-the-box' thinking, but this is not a box - this is a whole waterfall.

Look, Stacey and J Sbu are all for taking things to the next level, but the ripple effect of this couple's stunt in Brazil has left residents furious - obviously!

Besides the environmental effects of this stunt, the town itself has been experiencing a drought in 2022, and any contamination of water resources is considered a crisis.

The parents-to-be are being accused of causing an environmental disaster. The waterfall supplies water to the river, which serves the nearby town of Tangará da Serra. The waterfall is 18 metres in height and is located just six kilometres from the centre of Tangara da Serra.
The stunt obviously backfired and was brought to the attention of local authorities after videos went viral on social media.
The whole situation was summed up by an environmental engineer, Vanessa Costa.
