Diver does the unthinkable in rocky Cape Town ocean

Yeah, this looks like something a Cape Town diver might do...

If you are from Durban or Cape Town, you will know that there is a unique divide between these two coastal cities, not just when it comes to the culture, but most importantly the oceans.

Cape Town is known for its cooler waters and rocky beaches.

So, naturally, when we saw this video, as KZNers we were all feeling some kind of way about the death-defying antics of this diver.

The video that was posted to X/Twitter shows a man wearing a wet suit standing at the top of a high cliff.

He jumps into the water and begins swimming towards the rocks.

As the waves begin crashing in, sucking him into the water, we can bet that everyone watching assumed the worst.

Things got scarier when he stood up and tried to walk against the current but got knocked down by the waves.

We were pleasantly surprised though with the ending...
