Billionaire dad to 100+ kids plans to split his estate

Billionaire Pavel Durov wants to split his $14 billion estate equally among his 106 children, including those conceived through sperm bank donations.

Pavel Durov, the 40-year-old billionaire founder of Telegram, has made headlines with his unconventional decision to split his estimated $14 billion estate equally among his 106 children, including those conceived through sperm bank donations.
This move has surprised many, given the sheer number of children involved and the staggering sums of money at stake.
According to Durov, each of his children will inherit roughly $132 million, regardless of whether they were conceived naturally or through sperm bank donations. According to a report by IOL, he explained that he wants to treat all his children the same, ensuring they don't fight over the inheritance after his death.
"I make no difference between my children," he said in an interview with Le Point. "They are all my children and will all have the same rights!"
While the inheritance is substantial, Durov has implemented a long-term stipulation.
None of the children will gain access to their inheritance until 30 years have passed, allowing them to build themselves up and learn to trust themselves without relying on their inheritance.
"I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account," he stated.
Durov's decision has created a unique legacy, where children from different parts of the world, some of whom may never have met him or know of their biological parentage, will benefit from his vast fortune.
The entrepreneur has been a regular sperm bank donor for the past 15 years, helping conceive over 100 children across 12 countries, in addition to his six official children with three different partners.
