Woman's 'art gallery selfie' cost her R2.6m in damages

This not-so-picture-perfect moment is one that she will never forget for years to come.

No matter how much you try to deny it, we have become a generation that is obsessed with our mobile phones and mastering the art of the perfect selfie.

For one lady, however, a selfie is going to be a constant reminder of the damage that she caused at an art gallery in Los Angeles.
Mashable has reported that a woman was attempting to take a selfie at the 14th Factory art gallery when she accidentally knocked over sculptures, causing over $200,000 (R2.6million) in damages. WOAH!

For some reason, she decided to go low and crouch in front of the sculptures but ended up losing her balance instead. Because the sculptures were placed in a line, the domino effect took over, causing one big mess.
Although it isn't certain about what agreement the gallery and the woman have reached, one can be certain that she certainly will be steering clear of art galleries for a while.
