WATCH: Paris is the City of Love - and plenty of rats!
It's shocking how normal the rats are for the citizens...
Like everything, the beloved Paris is not entirely perfect and that's not a train smash.
We would like you to just make a note of the rat infestation problem when headed to the 'City of Love'.

A video emerged on social media where someone made a statement about the severity of rats in Paris.
The concerning thing about the video shared with the statement, is how it seems everyone has gotten comfortable with these rodents in the streets.

In 2021, France publication, The Local Fr, wrote:
Rats comfortably outnumber the human inhabitants of the city – it is estimated that the rat population of Paris is between 3.5 million and 4 million – that's 1.5-1.7 rats for every person that lives in Paris.

They continued sharing that the rats are not shy; if you hang around Paris long enough you are likely to see a rat.
