WATCH: KZN snake expert called for house snake comes face to face with Black Mamba
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A case of
mistaken identity turned what was supposed to be a casual brown house snake
rescue, into an intense chase after a 2.2 metre long Black Mamba in a Clairwood
home.
Snake Wrangler, Warren Dick received a call on Monday night from a woman who explained that they had a huge brown snake on their burglar guards of their front door.
“I was expecting to find a brown house snake, instead, I came face to face with a rather large Black Mamba,” Dick said.
Approaching the highly venomous snake with caution, Dick called on his good friend and fellow wrangler, Nick Evans for help.
