WATCH: After a school shooting, kids at this school had to get creative

Students have to go through so much just for their own safety...

It is a sad reality in the USA, but gun laws are just unbelievable and quite unacceptable. The fact that anyone is able to make that firearm purchase over the counter is actually scary for so many reasons. 

This is one example of the reasons - a school shooting.

Can you believe that their Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA), which regulates firearms at the federal level, requires that citizens and legal residents must be at least 18 years of age to purchase shotguns or rifles and ammunition. 

So a matriculant is able to go make that purchase, which creates the possibility of them actually bringing the firearm to school. 

Among the multiple adjustments that would need to be made after such a traumatic event takes place, this was one of them.

This school had a shooting the previous day and had to use 'transparent' backpacks that would make seeing what's in their possession easier. Well, they took it to another level.

This went on for another day and the students just kept getting better and better at coming up with creative ways to carry their books around the school premises.

Students will always be students, they just keep it moving and take everything as it comes. It is a great quality to have. 

Nevertheless, they would have never gotten to this point if the laws were a little stricter.
