Consumers are struggling to find where to buy affordable food.

With the prices of petrol, transport, and now food, it's no wonder there has been a cause to panic for the majority of the public.

A lot of food producers in South Africa have sent out warning messages of inflation within their products that could put loads of pressure on their businesses. 

In this day and age, food price increases will be unavoidable for any consumer.

With that being said, there was a study conducted by the good people at Business Insider on four specific canned foods being sold in four places. The four most common canned items were Pilchards, Baked Beans, Corned Beef, and Solid Tuna. 

1. Pilchards
