Politician contracts COVID-19 after claiming 'bathing in mud' is his preventative method

Indian politician Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria has been diagnosed with COVID-19 despite his "prevention method" to bath in mud.
The member of parliament posted a strange video on his Facebook page a month before diagnosis; where he was seen sitting in a muddy field, blowing into a conch shell.

Speaking in Hindi, the politician claimed that one gains immunity from "going out, getting wet in the rain, sitting in the dirt, working on the farm, blowing a conch... and eating 'desi' thing."
