We have been long awaiting this kind of update and progressive technology from Apple.

Well, then don't worry about it as that will be history once the updated iOS is available.
iPhone users will now be able unlock their phones while still wearing a face mask.
How convenient?!

This new and updated feature will be able to recognise the unique features around the eyes specifically.
You will need to re-scan your face to activate the feature.
All you've got to do is head to 'Settings' on your phone and switch on ‘Use Face ID with a Mask’.
You'll also be able to use the ‘Add Glasses’ option if you also wear glasses with your mask.
