The man who inspired Tom Hanks's film, 'The Terminal', has died. He lived for 18 years in Terminal 1 of Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris from 1988 until 2006, initially in legal limbo because he did not have residency papers.⁠

2. 

Checkers is introducing new trolley baskets made from old milk bottles to its stores across South Africa. The classic trolley basket will be made from 180 recycled milk bottles, while the smaller basket will be made from 110 of these old bottles.

The Hong Kong government demanded an investigation after a song associated with the city’s pro-democracy movement was played instead of the Chinese national anthem before a rugby sevens match between Hong Kong and South Korea.

After a five-year restoration project, the world-famous London-based Big Ben is back with a bong. By the way: Big Ben is the name of the bell, and the tower which houses the bell is now known as The Elizabeth Tower.

Carl Niehaus is the laughing stock of Social Media AGAIN! This time because of his one man protest against Cyril Ramaphosa. Despite the rain and poor weather conditions, Niehaus stood outside the Nasrec centre where top ANC leaders met and called for Ramaphosa to go.
