As the weekend is about to kick off, here are five things you need to know before you start your day:

1. 

Durban residents have much to say about the eThekwini Municipality’s new upgrade to a section along Anton Lembede Street, after the widening of walkways caused a reduction to the number of lanes for motorists in the process.

The South African Weather Service said that KZN residents should brace for cool temperatures and rain in certain parts of the province this weekend, with rain expected on Saturday afternoon.

The annual SA National Parks Week will run from 11 to 16 September 2022. The week grants free access to most of the 22 national parks for day visitors, which is aimed at local communities.

One of the people charged in the shooting and robbery of Lady Gaga's dog walker in Los Angeles was sentenced to four years in prison on Wednesday! The shooting and dog-napping on February 24 was caught on dramatic surveillance video that showed at least two men accosting Ryan Fischer, who was walking the star's three French bulldogs.
