Back-to-back floods in April and May led to major infrastructural damage to major substations across eThekwini Municipality, meaning the City could not loadshed. But we are expected to face loadshedding from next month.

The misery for SA motorists will continue in July with fuel prices set to reach new record levels on Wednesday. The price of 93 octane petrol will rise by R2.37/l, 95 octane by R2.57/l, and diesel by R2.30. What are the totals please? 95 Unleaded rising to R25.99 at the coast and R26.74 in the inland regions. Diesel will now be R22.63.
