When one gets tangled up in drugs, it can get out of hand very quickly. Just ask Daniel Thomas.

The 36-year-old and an accomplice arrived at a house in Victoria, Australia dressed as police officers and yelled: "This is a police raid. Get on the floor face down. Where are your drugs?"

At that point, you would definitely be scared and submit to these 'police officers', especially because you do have drugs in your house and they look the part.

Well, that's exactly what the two men in the house did. They gave Thomas the marijuana and crystal methamphetamine in their possession.

But that wasn't enough for Thomas.

He believed there were more drugs to be had and he beat one of the men with a hammer until he lost consciousness.

According to The Age, he continued: "We've killed your mate. Now tell us where the drugs are." Then they hurt the other man in a similar fashion before undressing him, searching for the rest of the drugs.

Fortunately, real police officers eventually arrived. The Age reports that when police found Thomas, he attacked them with a knife. The best response by the police was to taser Thomas and pepper-spray him.

Thomas had been using crystal meth every day, as well as GBH, marijuana, and heroin. It was also shared that he had gone off his antidepressants.

He was sentenced to 11½ years in prison for his role in a fake drug bust, The Age has reported

So, what do we learn from this? Stay away from drugs, kids!
