Updated | By Andrew Robertson
Four suspected drug dealers are appearing in various Durban courts following sting operations in the city.
One bust was made in the CBD on Tuesday night.
KwaZulu-Natal police's Nqobile Gwala says drugs were found inside a flat on Gillespie Street and a man arrested.
“The 31-year-old man was found in possession of drugs such as Methcathinone and cocaine powder. He was placed under arrests for the possession of drugs. The street value of the drugs is estimated at R87 000. He will appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court.”
The Hawks in KZN have also nabbed three suspects in Phoenix for alleged dealing.
They caught one of them in Patelpark, which led to two other arrests.
Crack cocaine, cocaine powder, mandrax tables and heroin capsules estimated to be worth R23 000 were seized.
